New SEPTA Route 135 Service

Coatesville to West Chester Transportation Center

Serving Thorndale, Downingtown & Exton

Beginning Sunday, August 1, 2021

SEPTA Route 135 continues the service and connections to Coatesville, the Lincoln Highway retail corridor, Downingtown, Exton Square Mall, Main Street in Exton, West Chester Transportation Center, and West Chester Borough county government offices formerly offered by Krapf Route A

This route will also link to SEPTA Regional Rail at Paoli/Thorndale Line service at Thorndale and Downingtown Stations

At the West Chester Transportation Center, customers will find convenient connections to SEPTA Bus Routes 92 and 104 for travel to King of Prussia and 69th Street Transportation Center. At Exton Square Mall, riders will be able to transfer to SEPTA Route 204 service

Connecting riders to jobs, education, health care services, shopping, and government offices Route 135 will operate 7 days a week: Weekdays from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 6:30 a.m. - 9:15 p.m., and on Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 5:20 p.m. The schedule will be posted on the SEPTA website and paper timetables will be available at SEPTA Customer Service Offices

With Route 135 providing service between Exton Square Mall and West Chester Transportation Center, effective August 1, Route 92 service will end at West Chester Transportation Center. Customers traveling between West Chester and Exton Square Mall should take Route 135.

SEPTA Route 135 will follow the Krapf service routing with some minor adjustments. Please look for new SEPTA branded signs to identify the bus stops

SEPTA Key is Your Way to Pay

A SEPTA Key Card loaded with a monthly/weekly pass or funds in the Travel Wallet makes travel seamless on all SEPTA routes and always offers the lowest fare available

Senior Citizens

Seniors, age 65 and older, with a SEPTA Key Card enjoy the benefit of free travel on Transit and Regional Rail (within PA). Learn more at septa.org/fares

Riders with Disabilities

Customers eligible for the SEPTA Key Reduced Fare Card travel at a discounted rate. CCT Paratransit Service

SEPTA will be honoring current paratransit eligibility under Krapf during this transition. Current paratransit riders must enroll with SEPTA CCT by October 31, 2021.


SEPTA Key Mobile Fare Kiosk Events

To help introduce new customers to SEPTA Key, our Key Mobile Fare Kiosk truck will be out at following locations on the dates listed below. Please stop by, learn more about the ease of traveling using a SEPTA Key Card, buy your new Card (does not apply to Seniors, Reduced Fare, or CCT), and learn about fare payment options. The fare on SEPTA buses is $2.50 cash (exact fare only) or the discounted fare of $2.00 when you use a SEPTA Key Card. The first transfer is free with SEPTA Key.
